President Tinubu forbids buying cars that run on gasoline

Members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) are not permitted to own cars that run on gasoline, according to President Bola Tinubu.


Additionally, the President has mandated that all government ministries, departments, and organizations purchase vehicles that run on compressed natural gas.

A video of a Nigerian woman sobbing over the destruction of her family property has gotten out and about via web-based entertainment. In the video, the woman said her family acquired the property in Eti-Osa neighborhood government in Lagos state in February and two months later, the state government wrecked it.


The state government has lately done destruction of properties said to be based on water directs in the state.

EFCC stops dollar transactions, asks embassies to charge in naira


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has requested that the federal government forbid embassies from conducting business in foreign currencies within Nigeria because it's is unlawful and  unhealthy.


EFCC chairman Ola Olukoyede expressed his dissatisfaction with the embassies' insistence on charging dollars and other foreign currencies for consular services and visa fees in a letter written to Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tuggar. The EFCC requested that the ministry inform the embassies of its disapproval and issue a warning to them about breaking Nigerian laws and regulations.

Man shot dead after being pursued in Abuja


On Friday night, May 10, a young guy known as Khalid Bichi was shot and killed by unidentified individuals. 

 

The men who shot Khalid dead in Abuja's Maitama neighborhood reportedly followed him.
