Violators Of COVID-19 Travel Advisory Will Be Grounded For One Year – Federal Government

Chairman of the Committee and Secretary and to the Government Federation, Boss Mustapha gave warning of Nigerians involved in the violation of travel advisory for travelers from Brazil, India and Turkey.

He said the Federal Government will have would enforce policies including deactivating travel passport for Nigeria and Foreign violators who will have their visa revoke and persecution where applicable will be an option.

Speaking during the PSC media briefing in Abuja on Monday, May 31, Mr Boss Mustapha said;

“This is considered a serious infraction and the PSC will proceed to do the following: deactivate the passports of Nigerians involved, for a period of not less than one year; revoke the visas of foreigners that have abused our hospitality; and prosecute the violators where necessary.”

He added: "For some times now, Nigeria has been discussing with the authorities of the United Arab Emirates on the resumption of flights between the two countries.

“The PSC will urge the United Arabs Emirates to remove the country specific and discriminatory practices against Nigeria. Discussions are however on-going and we can assure Nigerians that the outcome will be in the interest of the country.”

Two men share opposing views about the role of women in a marriage

Two men on Facebook with different views on the role of a woman in a marriage has caused serious debate on social media.

A man on Facebook with the name Victor Onyekachi Ojiako wrote;

"Never marry a jobless woman out of pity, let her get something doing first."

A Facebook user with the name Eric Ukaku responded, Saying that "if a man have a job and your earning can't sustain you and your wife then you don't have to marry. Woman are not created to toil with the man but to receive and be taken care of."

He further added: " if you marry and your wife decides to assist you financially then thank God but don't make it a condition for getting married. You as the man should be financially stable before getting into marriage.

30 new cases of Coronavirus recorded in Nigeria Today

30 new cases of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) recorded in Nigeria on 30 May, 2021. 

According to Nigeria Center for Disease Control on its twitter handle, @NCDCgov,  its says the 30 new cases are found in the state below;


Currently Nigeria now have a total of 166,315 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The number of cases discharged is now 156,558.

The number of deaths cases is now 2,071.

Today's report includes 0 cases from FCT, Imo, Kaduna, Kano, Nasarawa, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo and Sokoto States
