Investors and tourists to now get visa to Nigeria within 48 hours - FG

The Nigerian government has announced a significant reform to expedite visa processes for investors and tourists, aiming to boost foreign investment and tourism.

Under the new policy, investors and tourists can obtain visas within 48 hours of application.

This streamlined process signifies Nigeria's commitment to enhancing its business environment and attracting global interest.

The initiative is expected to facilitate smoother entry into Nigeria for business ventures, conferences, and leisure activities. By reducing bureaucratic hurdles, the government aims to stimulate economic growth and enhance international partnerships.

This move aligns with broader efforts to showcase Nigeria's potential as an investment hub and tourist destination. It underscores the government's recognition of the pivotal role foreign investment and tourism play in driving economic development.

The revised visa policy is poised to improve Nigeria's global competitiveness and encourage greater engagement with its diverse cultural and economic offerings. Investors and tourists can now expect a more efficient and welcoming experience when visiting this dynamic West African nation.

The Minister declared:

"Our visa procedures are growing increasingly onerous. Our visa procedures are also linked to how easy it is to do business with us. From now on, it will be simple for tourists and investors to obtain a visa in the next 48 hours.

"Human interactions will be eliminated with the new visa processing time, which will be available in less than 48 hours. Making sure the government expedites the process of making doing business easier is the problem.
