South Africa Gospel singer shot dead inside church by her husband

A Gospel singer in South Africa, Funanani Mbedzi, has passed on after she was reportedly killed inside her congregation by her husband during the Easter festival in church.

According to News circulating South African police station, the homicide suspect entered the church congregation in Makonde Shadani town, outside Thohoyandou, around 6 pm while the gathering was taken part in love and shot at his beloved wife on numerous occasions.

Limpopo SAPS representative Colonel Malesela Ledwaba while affirming the occurrence, said the spouse ran away from the area subsequent to killing his accomplice.

"While the intention behind this horrifying episode stays indistinct, aggressive behavior at home can't be precluded. The man gave himself over to the police yesterday subsequent to being on the run for two days."
