South African rapper, Aka, reportedly shot dead in Durban

Award winning South African rapper, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes better known as AKA, is reportedly dead, as confirmed by police in Durban.

He was allegedly shot dead in a drive-by shooting on Florida Road on Friday night, February 10, 2023, but according to IOL report.

Popular Instagram blog, Instablog9ja reports that another person believed to be AKA’s bodyguard, was also wounded, while another unidentified person, who is understood to be a close friend of AKA, was also killed.

It was gathered that AKA was standing outside the Wish Restaurant when he was gunned down in a drive-by shooting.

Two unknown cars are believed to have opened fire on the rapper. The shooting happened just before 10pm.

Many of his friends on social media has taken to their  Instagram page to share a series.
